I was able to spend some quality time with our newest, beautiful, grandson Wesley when they brought him home. Danielle was so gracious to take care of Kelly while I spent a few nights with Wes. Tad and Candice were in the middle of remodeling when she went into labor so the couch was the only bed available and Kelly's health made that impossible for him. Danielle, Tom, and Ainsley took excellent care of my sweet husband while I indulged myself with Wesley and Candice (Tad basically worked in the basement while I was there). It was so wonderful to watch them as new parents and spending time with my daughter and their son.

Christmas at Gavin's 2008
Gavin is tractor Crazy!!! He can hardly stand
the wait for Dad to get it out of the package.
Snow Fun
I guess it's evident that the grandchild we spend the most time with is Gavin. We've had the pleasure of Friday night sleepovers since he was a few months old. Saturday mornings we usually go to yard sales or Alco after stopping by the hosptial to see Matt. The nurses love to hear Gavin standing at the doorway saying 'daddy, daddy'.
Danielle makes sure we see Ainsley almost every month even though they are 5 hrs away. She also keeps her blog up to date so all the good pictures are there. I also get the 'Ainsley Show' whenever I spend an extended time in my office. Skyp lets her send me video and voice over the internet and that's my favorite show!
One more time
The trip up north to see the doctors was so unorganized they had Kelly scheduled for the wrong kind of biopsy. No one admitted to knowing about the lung and bone marrow biopsy we were told were being scheduled (Kelly wasn't disappointed about the biopsy). Three more days of blood tests and they sent us home to wait another week to find out if he had Luekemia! Yet another suprise we were not prepared for. Finally we got real results; no Cancer of any kind! Well, that's if the CAT scan in March shows no change.
