More doctors...

Well, the doctor we were sent to for the biopsy say it couldn't be done because of the vast number of nodules. some could be arthritis and others cancerous or a number of other harmless growths. The chances of choosing a cancerouse nodules are slim so we must wait three months and see if any grow. Those would most likely be cancer.

It's been fun being with the girls and their families especially our newest grandson Wesley and Ainsley.

Life goes on...

I'm averaging one update a month...terrible. Excuse the lack of enthusiasum. My dear husband Kelly has been diagnoised with Dementia and will be going for a biopsy for lung cancer. My free time goes to Kelly, doctor appointments and grandkids.

I wish soooo much I could have been more a part of Candice's pregnancy. It's such a wonderful experience (especially if it's not YOU!). As I sew or crochet for my grandkids and those to come it gives me some joy but nothing can replace being there. I love you children and you're always in my thoughts. I'm proud of them all! Keep up the good work you're doing and know that I keep you in my heart.

My Children

Watching over all I see
Strong and firm I surely seem
To those who see my steady light
And think I'm up for any fight
Yet years of storms and keeping watch
Have weakened me and I have sought
Support from all the battles fought

Tired now, I'm blessed to find
Within my own strength multiplied
My children I have watched and warned
Protect me now from bitter storms
Supporting me on every side
My weathered cracks I do not hide
Relinquishing my foolish pride
grateful to have them by my side.

Thank you,
Mom

Grandkids

A little face that shames chameleons
Changing fast with every feeling
Crushed or joyful and often confused
All I know is that she has a short fuse
Anything can start the chain reaction
Boy, that kid is full of passion
One small pout on those sweet lips
Has me buying lots of gifts
Grins and laughter when we meet
That little faces, so awfully sweet
All it takes is one small ‘no’
To make that child want to go
A quick distraction, maybe a bribe
Just a little guilt inside
But as the smiling face returns
I vow again to be more stern
But for today I’ll pay the rent
Consider it a down payment
On all tomorrows as she grows
To remember grandma loved her so
